Underground Storage Tanks

UST LOCATING

Underground Storage Tanks, or USTs, were commonplace throughout the 1900s in both commercial and residential buildings. Many of theses USTs are still in place with petroleum products threatening to impact the environment. GPR offers the quickest and most reliable method of locating a buried tank or tank grave.

Utility Clearance

ELECTROMAGNETIC CLEARANCE

Call Before You Dig is a valuable service, but it falls short of marking utility paths on private property.   Also, property owners often install irrigation and underground utilities to an out building or light post. Electromagnetic clearance in conjunction with GPR is  the most reliable method of utility clearance.

Phase II Planning

Phase II ESA Planning

Reveal Radar can assist in planning a Phase II ESA by clearing boring, pit and well locations.  This can save time as opposed to drill-rig refusal and relocation.  Drill-rig and excavator operators simply love having the bore and pit locations cleared by GPR as it ensures safer and more efficient drilling and digging.

Subsurface Mapping

Mapping Water Tables and Bedrock

In some cases, depending the surficial material's dielectric properties, Ground Penetrating Radar can map layers such as the water table or bedrock.  This can assist in the placement of groundwater monitoring wells and "core" bores.

Concrete Inspection

Concrete Mapping

GPR is the perfect tool for mapping the rebar in concrete.  It can be used to clear boring holes or anchor points.  GPR can also determine the thickness of a concrete slab and find voids, conduits, pipes and cables.
